Our goal is to expose students to various STEM disciplines and provide them with educational, mentoring and networking opportunities that might lead to higher education and or career pathways into the STEM professions.

The applied activities and research projects relate to strengthening one’s understanding of science (physics, chemistry, etc.) and mathematics.

UAA Sacramento NSBE Jr Student participants formed a robotics team, called the “RoboRays” and completed the underwater robot build project to compete in the Port City SeaPerch competition.  Team “RoboRays” prepared a presentation and design for competition.
